Yummy Peach Crisp!

When I went to the grocery store the other day, they had a big display of local peaches near the front door. I knew immediately that I wanted to make a peach crisp. I made it yesterday and it came out so yummy! I used a recipe from my Mom's 1953 edition of a Betty Crocker cookbook. The book is falling apart but it is a reminder of my mom now that she is gone.

The peach crisp came out of the oven bubbling hot and smelled so good. I spooned some up in a bowl and topped it with some vanilla ice cream. So good!

MMMMMMMMMMMM That peach crisp sounds so good. I am going to have to make some soon. Peaches are in season here and I will have to make a trip to the farmer's market and bring some home. Of course, I will have many other farm fresh items in my bags! I think there may be blackberries available, too.

Wow..certainly sounds yummy, this is something that i have never tried before however i am definitely think about trying it as my family are peach lovers.
