Substituting Brandy with Disaronno in Eggnog Cheesecake Recipe

Im baking an eggnog cheesecake and I like to make everything from scratch in my recipes, so I’m making eggnog along with it (rather than using store bought). I was looking at recipes online and the eggnog recipe calls for Brandy, but i don’t have any in the house. I don’t have a way to purchase alcohol right now and all i have is Disaronno (Amaretto; hazelnut liquor). Would this be similar enough or should I just leave it out? I figure since it’s sweet and has notes of spices it might work. Opinions?

I think Disaronno would work. You only need a little, so keep it minimal if you're worried about the flavour overpowering the rest.
