There was a lot of thin cheap tins made in the 60’s - 70’s. Other than their cloth baking strips and white sanding sugar everything else Wilton was/is very poor quality.

It’s important to know the brand of the baking tin so you know specifically what you are getting.

if it’s 16 gauge aluminum you’re good.
