Okay so I like to bake cupcakes and take them out for snacks or to give people or just transport from A to B in general. So I put them in a tupperware box and put the lid on. Whenever I get to my destination they have always somehow collided with lid and smudged the icing on top, it's such a nightmare, and no matter how careful I am keeping them upright it almost always happens- does anybody share this problem? or have any solutions to getting Cupcakes (or anything with smugable icing) from A to B?

Hey Andrew172, I do cupcakes too. I am about ready to invest in a cupcake taker, but in the mean time, I use those cardboard cake boxes that you get at the craft store. The lid is high enough to not smudge and it works out good.

I've just always used toothpicks, never had a problem sending them off.

These are both really great alternatives. My tupperware boxes only allow about an inch of head room so I think both these techniques would work out well. Thanks for the ideas!
