I am trying to make some apple extract and I am looking for a recipe.

I have made Vanilla, Pineapple, Orange, Lemon, Lime, and Chocolate.

I am looking for recipes for Apple, Banana, Raspberry, and Strawberry.

I think the fresh fruits are the hardest.

I have done all the searches I could online and have found some sites that offer 15 - 18 flavored extracts and nonoe of them are what I need.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I used the peeled zest of about 4 good size oranges.
Make sure it is just the orange part with no white attached.
Put them in a pint-sized mason jar and filled with Vodka.
If you want less, then use fewer oranges and a smaller bottle, but still fill with Vodka leaving about 1/2" from the top.

For homemade apple extract, try this: Place 2 cups of apple peels or scraps in a jar, cover with 1 cup of vodka, and let it sit in a dark place for 4-6 weeks, shaking occasionally. Strain out the solids and transfer the liquid to a bottle. For banana, raspberry, and strawberry extracts, use similar methods with 2 ripe bananas, 1 cup of raspberries, or 1 cup of sliced strawberries, respectively. Just remember, fresh fruits might need a bit more time or quantity to get a strong flavor.

they don't sell apple extract or flavoring, its too subtle.
i would use calvados brandy but it depends what you're making.
