Lemon Meringue Pastry Crisis: Can Bottom Heat Save It?

Hey all!

I've made a shortcrust pastry, filled it with my lemon meringue filling, its baking away BEAUTIFULLY in the oven.... but forgot to pre-bake the pastry!!

I've put the whole thing on the bottom of the oven, put in on only the bottom heat, hoping to bake the crust... Is this going to work?? MY meringue is already beautifully brown and crispy....

AAAHHH!!!!
