Question about Silicon Molds

Just curious if anyone would know if silicone molds for baking produced in China are safe and reliable.

I've used one for cheesecake, I have no idea if its safe.
Probably not , its only for me and I don't care.

Can I use it with meringue and if so, do I need to spray the mold with cooking spray and then freeze the meringue after baking ?
