Ingredients;
3 sticks butter, softened.
3 cups sugar.
6 large eggs at room temp.
1tsp. lemon extract.
3 cups flour.
1 cup 7up.
Directions;
Cream butter & sugar until light & fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Continue beating. Add lemon extract. Add flour one cup at a time. Continue beating. When flour ia all incorporated, add 7up. Reduce speed of mixer to avoid splashing.
Grease or coat 10-inch tube pan with baking spray. Pour batter evenly into pan. Knock filled pan onto hard surface lightly to even batter.
Bake in pre-heated 325-degree oven for about 80 minutes. Caked is done when toothpick or cake tester comes out clean or dry. Cool cake in pan for 15 minutes. Remove cake from pan by inverting onto cake plate. Finish cooling. Enjoy!!
