Hi there!

We are seeking experienced bakers for our bakery in OXFORD, UK. We are looking for ambitious bakers looking to progress their career. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for motivated and passionate individuals to join our team. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, we remained open and continued to trade as normal with our business thriving during the Lockdown period. With businesses slowly opening again, we are receiving a great deal of interest from new wholesale clients in the area.

Gatineau is an independent French Artisanal Patisserie and Bakery company founded over 12 years ago and located in the university town of Oxford in England. We produce all our Patisserie and Bakery products in our dedicated kitchen to supply our shop and wholesale customers in and around Oxford. It is the perfect time to join our business and grow with us as we continue to expand, with opportunity for quick career progression for the right candidate.

We are looking for candidates with at least 2-3 years of baking experience in a professional kitchen / production environment. We will consider for the position of junior baker a candidate who has just completed a course in artisan bread making. Flexibility of work is necessary. Our Bakery uses high quality ingredients sourced from France, to ensure we maintain the highest levels of product quality, which we take great pride in, in selling to our customers.

If you have experience with sour dough and European baking traditions (French, Italian, ...), get in touch. Proven experience is important to us and for the right candidate, we will be able to make a quick decision! Potential to progress and grow with us as the business expands! Don't forget to include your contact details including mobile phone number, and email address.
  • We will sponsor you on a Skilled Worker Visa. If you have a family and want to re-locate to the UK, we may be able to help with this. Talk to us!
  • The salary is negotiable (typically in the range of £25,000 - £30,000 per year )
  • Holiday entitlement is 28 days a year, including bank holidays.
  • Oxford is a lovely place to base yourself. London is only one hour by train. Oxford is a University City and there are beautiful places to visit and enjoy.
