Hi guys I’m new…

I’ll keep it brief so I’m not banging on too much…I’ve opened a bakery shop. Im baking in bulk for the first time with a 20ltr planetary mixer…can I use this for cake batter? It might sound stupid and probably overthinking it but wasn’t sure if it’s suitable…I’ve used it for doughnut dough and cookie dough which turned out great but haven’t tried cake mix in it yet and don’t want to waste a lot of ingredients if I balls it up…

thanks for any replies,
Dave

Congrats on opening your bakery! Yes, you can definitely use your 20ltr planetary mixer for cake batter. Just use the paddle attachment instead of the dough hook and mix on a low to medium speed to avoid overmixing. It should work great for large batches of cake mix!
