Anyone here heard of Pulla? It's an enriched dough, which is used to make a variety of different breads - one of the more common variations is called Korvapuusti which is like a cinnamon roll. Cardamom often features as a flavouring too, apparently. Here are a couple of recipes:

And a bit more detail on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulla

I'm tempted to give this a go for Easter! I think the cardamom ones would be delicious :) Anyone tried baking anything similar to this?

I live in Norway for a while, had a friend married to a Finnish guy, so I did taste this before, but I have never made them. I had completely forgotten about them until now, sweet memories. I think that if you really want to go for it you should, trying new things is good :) I actually wish I had been more adventurous with my baking. I will be more adventurous when I move to the Netherlands :)

I've made American style cinnamon rolls many times before, but I've never made Finnish bread! You had me though at the cinnamon/cardamom nature of the bread, it sounds delish!

I can't wait to make these! :D Need to clear a bit of space in our freezer first though, as I'll want to freeze most of them once they're baked.
