Hello, I am not a very skilled baker, but I’ve baked a few things. I probably will just see what others are baking and look for tips/ideas. Just wondering, I just ran out of sugar and didn’t really want to run out, know any good recipes with just confectioner’s sugar or brown sugar? For fruits I have apples.

Powered sugar has limited options for baked goods. You can use it in a macaron batter or a shortbread.

Brown sugar and apples can be made into apple tarte tatin or an apple crisp. Such apple desserts are best with a tart apple as they hold up better in baking and the tart balances the sweetness of the sugars.

Brown sugar can also be used in a brown butter cookie, a drop cookie like oatmeal raisin or chocolate chip.
