I'm new here and somewhat new to baking. I was looking through my grandmother's old Cookbook and came across this recipe. Does anyone know what it means by 1 tsp. Salad?
I would seriously ditch half the salt....thats a shocking amount in a small recipe.
canned food contains sodium , baking powder contains sodium, eggs also contain sodium.
Thats 3 instances. it doesn't need a spoonful of salt on top of all that.
