Milk Bar Blueberries and Creme Cookies

A few years ago I had the pleasure to go to Momofuku in New York with my cousin (she's a chef/baker - so she gets to travel around to different restaurants and review them). Anyways, I had these DELICIOUS milk bar blueberries and creme cookies and had to look for a recipe.

I have yet to try this one out, but I found this:

Honestly, the pictures look very similar to the ones I had at Momofuku, but who knows if it tastes exactly the same. I guess there's only one way to find out!

I've had homemade strawberry milk bars and loved them. I don't see anything I make tasting as good as tasting it from a restaurant somewhere. There's always generic version recipes out but they never taste the same.

This is the recipe Ms. Tosi gave to Bon Appetit, so it should be as close as you can get to the real deal.

However, when she gave the recipe to Martha Stewart, the crumb mixture included white chocolate

I would just eat the crumb stuff alone and forget the cookies!

These look delish! Much easier to make than a blueberry pie (don't have fresh blueberries here, much to my sorrow). Definitely making these soon.
