Baking Lube: What Kind of Oil Do You Use?

You were very honest. You helped me and others that read this post. Now I am comfortable using canola oil. Feel free to correct me any time.

Yeah, olive oils do NOT work with chocolates of any nature!!!!

Chocolate works best with light oils, such as saffron or canola. Heavy oils such as corn or soy can give it a funky taste.

I prefer sunflower or canola oils when baking.

I leave the olive oils for everything else.

I do agree with that. Recently I have been using coconut oil in some things, such as nut butters. Wonder how it will work in chocolates?
