Banana cake?

Do you add anything to your banana cake recipe to make it extra special? I like to add choc chips or cinn. chips.
Do you bake it from scratch or from a box? Does anyone have a good recipe for scratch?

I do scratch most the time and add raisins soaked in OJ most the time.
