Ingredients:

4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 cup warm milk
1/4 cup warm water
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions:

In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes, or until it is frothy.
In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, warm milk, and melted butter. Mix until it forms a dough.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and divide it into 8-12 equal portions. Shape each into a bun and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Let the buns rise in a warm place for another 30 minutes, or until they have doubled in size.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brush the buns with the beaten egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds on top, if desired.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the buns are golden brown.
Allow the buns to cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
Enjoy your homemade burger buns!

Here's a simplified version of the burger bun recipe: Combine 500g of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of instant yeast, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt in a large bowl. Make a well in the center and add 300ml of warm water and 50g of melted butter. Mix to form a soft dough, then knead on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth. Let it rise in a greased bowl, covered, in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour. Punch down the dough, divide into 8 pieces, and shape each into a round bun. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cover, and let rise again for 30-40 minutes. Brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden. Cool on a wire rack before serving. Enjoy your homemade burger buns!

Hi! For homemade burger buns, mix 1 cup warm milk with 2 ¼ teaspoons of yeast and ¼ cup sugar, and let it sit until frothy. Then add ¼ cup melted butter, 1 egg, 3 ½ to 4 cups flour, and 1 teaspoon salt, mixing until a soft dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes, let it rise for 1 hour, then shape into 8 balls and flatten slightly. Let rise again for 30 minutes, bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-18 minutes until golden brown, and cool before slicing. Enjoy your buns!
