Hi,
I'm fairly new to making SMBC (have only made it once before and couldn't remember which recipe I followed). I've made a batch for a cake I'm making tomorrow but it's come out way too sweet! I think the recipe I followed was not great, as I've researched some more with way less sugar now. What can I do to fix it? I've used a lot of (mildly expensive) ingredients for this and I don't want to throw it away. Can I add cream cheese? Or another half batch of SMBC made without sugar?
The recipe I made is:
4 egg whites
250g sugar (recipe called for 300g but I reduced this as was adding white choc)
400g butter
vanilla
100g white chocolate
Thanks in advance!
