Fudge brownie recipe

I am trying to make a great dark chocolate brownie that is not cake like and fudge. I have tried a few and can't seam to find one comparable to a Hershey box mix that is the goal. I would continue to use the Hershey but it is not readily available. Any suggestions would be helpful

Try Stella Parks recipe. It used a 70% + dark chocolate and cocoa powder.

This one is a little different than the one on Serious Eats. Either one will do.

The more eggs, the more cake-like they'll be.

Try this easy recipe for fudgy brownies: Melt 1/2 cup butter and mix in 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir in 1/3 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder. If you like, fold in 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips. Pour into a greased 9x9 inch pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes. The brownies should be set around the edges but soft in the center. Let them cool before cutting.
