Hi everyone! My name is Leewen all the way from Australia. I thought I would finally say hello to everyone. Been reading some great info on this forum the past few days.

A bit about myself.. I love baking and started decorating cakes and cupcakes about four years ago now as a hobby. If anyone is interested I have a blog where I have documented some of the things I have made. [link removed]

Hello ChesterV,

I'm new to here. Wanted some advice regarding soft flour in place of self raising flour. I have soft flour with 8.5 protein content and wanted to use that instead of self raising flour, heard cakes are much better with soft flour. Unfortunately I have not had much look using this flour. I've tried mixing flours too but not sure what's going wrong,cake coming out dense. Any help/tips would be appreciated
