I've been asked to make a golf brownie. Trying to keep it simple being that I'm a novice, I'm going to use a round cookie cutter on on the brownie and I want to put green dyed coconut on the top as grass. How do I get the coconut to stay on top of the brownie?? To finish it off I'm going to place a powdered donut hole on top to look like a golf ball.
Appreciate any suggestions.

Depends how much you can charge. Chocolate if they will pay, icing if they won't.?

That sounds like such a fun idea! To get the coconut to stick, you could use a simple frosting or glaze as a "glue." A thin layer of buttercream, cream cheese frosting, or even melted white chocolate should work well. Just spread a little bit on top of the brownie where you want the "grass," then sprinkle the dyed coconut over it while the frosting is still tacky. Press it down gently to help it adhere. Once it sets, it should stay in place, and you'll have a cute golf-themed treat! Good luck, and have fun with it!
