What is your last minute go to desert when all fails?

chocolate chip cookies. They are super easy and fast to make as I have been doing it for years. While a batch is in the oven, I can finish all of my other prep work.

If its a dessert that I have to bring something, its a brownie mix with something else thrown in like peanut butter or chocolate chips. If I'm at home and just craving sweet, I will usually just have a bowl of icecream. Any baked desserts that we eat at home are usually made earlier in the day as a surprise for my husband.
