I tried this in the summer, and it was huge success. If you like, I can dig out the recipe.
The basic idea was layering- crushed nuts on the bottom of the desert dishes, then lemon curd, and then whipped cream.
If you use store-bought things, it's a 5 min recipe.
Otherwise, it takes a bit. I made the whipped cream from scratch. For nuts, I improvised and crushed peanuts, walnuts and plain butter cookies (I know, wasn't on the recipe, but it ended up great). Since it was summer, I also made the lemon curd from scratch, which took some time.
The end desert was sweet because of the whipped cream, filling because of the nuts, and slightly sour because of the curd. It was a perfect refreshing dessert for summer time
