So, I made a Mint Oreo Cheesecake for my dad's birthday a couple days ago. I made it with my regular cheesecake recipe but put in some green food colouring, mint extract and yummy crushed oreos! It tasted amazing and I'm planning on doing it again! Have you ever made a mint oreo cheesecake? It tastes really good with some whipped cream and a mint chocolate drizzle on the top. :D

No, I have never eaten Mint Oreo Cheesecake. This dessert sounds delicious. I did find a link to a recipe for this treat at the 36th Avenue.

I have never tried a mint Oreo cheesecake. This sounds like a delicious dessert.
I bet this would be a great dessert for St. Patrick's Day. Maybe I will try making this come March.

That sounds absolutely delicious! Would you care to share your recipe? (What is your original cheesecake recipe that you add the coloring and mint to?)
I like the idea of this cake because with the green coloring it would be great for Christmas parties or St. Patty's day. If you go light on the green food coloring, you could make it a pastel green for Easter! It sounds wonderful! I am anxious to try it!

I use an egg substitution because I can't eat eggs, but I believe it works out to 2 eggs and I usually average out the sugar and extract. I usually make a small cheesecake, my ingredients are as follows:

1 sour cream
2 Philadelphia cream cheese
2 eggs
sugar
almond extract

It's nothing much, but tastes yummy. I took this picture a while ago, but they always look like this :p
