I made these last Saturday. The people that tried them liked them. Probably will use the recipe again.:)

my mom said add vanilla next time. So I will try the same recipe but add 2 tsp of vanilla to it.

Yup mom is right. I’ll let you in on a little secret about vanilla...when baking you can use the artificial stuff. Extract is made with alcohol. It’s evaporates in heat, so once it is subjected to high temperatures all of the scent and flavor will burn off. But that doesn’t happen with artificial vanilla.

Most people can’t taste real vanilla extract in baked good because it’s burned off. So a lot of commercial bakeries use the artificial stuff. But in cold applications like ice cream, you definitely want to use the real stuff.
