Plain cake

My future brother in law loves cake without any icing/frosting. It's pretty much the only way he eats cake. Does anyone here like plain ol cake? I would eat it if I had to but I prefer icing/frosting.

I like plain cake.

Pound cake is the type I eat most frequently, but I'm willing to eat just about any type of cake without the icing. I don't think the icing or frosting actually adds that much to my pleasure. In fact, some cake icing, like that on store made birthday cakes, is awful!
