Hi
I'm struggling to properly line my baking tray with baking paper without it curling up or moving around while I pour in the batter or place the dough.

Any tips or techniques from the community to ensure the paper stays in place and provides an even surface for baking?

Absolutely! To begin, cut a piece of baking paper slightly larger than your baking tray. Gently press the paper into the corners and sides of the tray, allowing any excess to drape over the edges. If the paper seems loose, a small amount of butter or dough can be used to secure it in place.

Simply trim away any excess paper for a clean finish. Now your baking tray is lined and ready for use! It's that easy.

To keep baking paper from curling or moving when lining a tray, try greasing the tray first with a bit of butter or spray. Then, cut the paper to fit exactly inside the tray. You can also crumple the paper into a ball and then smooth it out; this makes it more pliable and less likely to curl. If it still moves around, place some batter or dough on the paper as soon as you put it in the tray to help anchor it.
