Hello everyone! While I am quite good at cooking, I am not great at baking cakes, but I have been wanting to try baking something for a long time. Do you have any suggestions for a simple, quick cake that I could bake with my friend for the weekend? I will be glad for any advices.
Simple and fast cake to bake

start simple, no buttercream drama.
I put this video up last week, takes less than 5 minutes to mix and get in the oven.
Skip the dates, it doesn't need it.
they take up to 1 hr to bake, test with a small knife, stick it in the middle, if the blade comes out clean...its done.
Spray molds with pan spray...lightly. Bake at 350F.
No paper in the pan needed.
Recipe is below the video in the comments, divide the recipe in 4 if you only want to make one.
Drizzle the icing over the cake in the mold, hot or cold doesn't matter .

For a quick and easy cake, try making a Vanilla Mug Cake. Mix 4 tablespoons flour, 4 tablespoons sugar, 1/8 teaspoon baking powder, and a pinch of salt in a mug. Add 3 tablespoons milk, 2 tablespoons oil, and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, and stir. Microwave for about 1 minute and 30 seconds. Let it cool a bit before eating. It’s simple and fun to make with a friend!
