Yeasted puff pastry fail

Hello,
I tried a yeasted puff pastry to make the Tartine Morning Buns. I succeeded in the past, but today it went all wrong. I read a thread here and realized my many errors today...too much developed gluten, stretched my dough when it didn't roll out, and butter broke inside the dough. Butter has leaked out here and there after my second turn.

Rather than put it in the garbage can, does anyone have any suggestions on what to do with the dough? Regular cinnamon rolls? Loaf bread. I'm just not sure if it's salvageable for anything at this point.

Many thanks.

Sorry to hear about your dough troubles. If your yeasted puff pastry didn't turn out as planned, you might still salvage it by turning it into cinnamon rolls or a loaf bread. Even if it's not flaky, it can still make tasty treats. Just roll it out, add some filling or shape it as needed, and bake. You could also try making flatbreads or savory hand pies if you prefer. Don't toss it just yet—there's still potential for a delicious outcome!
