Hi, any help on wheat bread and dinner rolls recipe made with oil?
One of our members @Norcalbaker59 developed this recipe for buttermilk dinner rolls recently - I've not tried it yet, but it's on my to-do list! https://www.baking-forums.com/threads/soft-fluffy-buttermilk-rolls.4943/ The recipe uses butter, but you could try oil in place of the butter. What type of oil will you be using?
Yes you should be able to substitute the butter with either one of these oils. The general rule in substituting oil for butter with oil is to reduce the amount of oil by approx .25 by weight. Butter 50g 50 x .25 = 12.5 Subtract 12.5 grams from weight of butter 50 - 12.5 = 37.5
