Hello :)

I recently started creating my own recipe notebook for future generations. I have already collected some interesting recipes, but where better to ask for recommendations than in a baking forum? So, here's my question: What childhood cakes do you recommend the most? I want to include proven multi-generational recipes in the journal, so I would be very happy if you could share your favorite childhood flavors with me :)

I had to track this one down. An oldie but a goodie. Especially fun for Valentine's Day if you shape the meringue into a heart shell and place it on parchment or a paper grocery bag is how I used to do it. Super fun for kids

What a great project! For childhood cakes, you might consider including a classic vanilla birthday cake with fluffy layers and buttercream frosting, a chocolate chip pound cake that’s rich and comforting, a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, a zesty lemon drizzle cake, and a delicious apple cinnamon coffee cake. These cakes have timeless flavors and are sure to bring back fond memories for many people. Happy baking!
