Working in a bakery that supplies shops with products. My question is does freezing doughnuts then thawing them to sell on cause issues? Does anyone do this? Heard of it? Its something me personally don't agree with. Fresh every time for me.

Freezing doughnuts is a common practice for some bakeries to manage inventory, but it can affect texture and freshness. If you do freeze them, it's important to package them well and thaw them properly at room temperature to avoid sogginess. While freezing can be practical, I agree that fresh doughnuts always taste better. If you can, keeping them fresh is definitely the best option for quality.
