substitute for a 10 inch tube pan

I'm looking at a carrot cake recipe and was wondering what i could us to substitute a 10 inch tube pan with ?

can I just use a regular round cake pan ?

A regular round cake pan should be fine - there won't be much of a difference in terms of volume between a 10" tube pan and a 10" round pan

This carrot cake looks amazing and delicious! One of my favorite cake that until now I have not yet tried baking because I still don't have the right recipe that I am looking for.

Yeah, makes my mouth drool for some carrot cake too!
I'm TRYING to be "good" and stay off the sugary foods for a while.....but I'm going into some SEVERE withdrawals here!!!! I might not make it!!

what would be a good frosting for a carrot cake that isn't cream cheese ?

hmmm I need to get my sisters recipe for her cream frosting for her Hummingbird cake and maybe try that ,it uses cream cheese,i'm not a big fan of some cream cheese topping

If you aren't a fan of cream cheese JM, you can also do a buttercream frosting with sour cream in it.
Some people use Buttery Buttercream on carrot cake as well. It's butter cream frosting, made with real butter.
You can also make a whipped cream topping too, which makes the carrot cake taste a bit better, because you don't have that heavy frosting on it.

my my so there is 3 layers to that cake ? it looks great and i have to admitt that the carrot cake I made got better after a couple of days

I will have to check that butter cream topping out too
