I have a simple, go-to cookie icing that my family loves! It is perfect for sugar cookies! I use it all year round, not just for holiday cookies.
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup milk
pinch of cream of tarter
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 package powdered sugar (sifted)
Directions:
Melt the butter and mix in the milk. Add the cream of tarter and the vanilla. Slowly sift the powdered sugar in the mix. (You may need to add more/less powdered sugar depending on the consistancy.)
