Easy Pineapple Angel Food Cake

Ingredients:
One box angel food cake mix
One 20 ounce can crushed pineapple with juice

Instructions:
Combine cake mix and the can of pineapple with juice.
Mix with a spoon. It will be frothy and light.
Pour batter into a greased 9x13 cake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

I got this recipe from my aunt. She's made it before and told me that my uncle liked it. If he liked it, it must be good. He is not easily impressed when it comes to dessert. He's a meat and potatoes guy.

I like the idea that it's made from things that you can just keep in the pantry and pull out when you need a quick dish to take to a get together or if someone drops by.

I am a pineapple-aholic! I will definately try this recipe. Seems easy and really light for summer. I will take fruit over pure sugar any day so for me its a healthy added bonus. This recipe makes me think of Pineapple Upside Down Cake almost, which was a much loved favorite. (Albeit a very sugary one)
