Reading this is a reminder I need to straighten out a few things. I have baking ingredients stored all over the place. In the cupboards, a few in the fridge and still more in a separate storage area just a little outside of the kitchen.

Recently I realized I had duplicated a lot of things. I saw something like five packs of baking powder from the fridge into the cupboards. It's not all my fault. Sometimes I get a little house help and the help decides for me where my things should go:(.

what are good sizes to store the 5lb bags of flour and such in ? I want something that is easy to scoop out of,I seen where somebody said to use 1 gallon plastic ice cream containers , i haven't tried those and i'm on a tight budget

and should I freeze the flour first ? to try and kill the cooties in it?I don't have a problem with a 5lb sack as far as weevils go,but I do want to be able to seal stuff up better,I've tried gallon sized zip lock bags, but the zip locks all ways get clogged with the flour and are a pain in a very short time
