It depend largely on whether we are on a cycle tour (then no, not in the all out way) or on a self catering holiday.
On a cycle tour, we cook our meals, but we don't 'cook' anything other than 1 pot meals because we are using our camping stove which is a single gas burner, but it is surprising what you can actually cook on that single ring.
On a self-catering holiday, then yes we cook. We cook as though we were at home and nothing is any different! For us, food is just as important on holiday as it is at home, so we see no reason as to why it should be any different. Did that make any sense?

I'm quite like that too. I understand completely. It's not necessarily a bad thing; at least I know the quality of food is up to my personal standard. It's just a drag nobody can share responsibilities, because I'm always the one cleaning up after them as well. When I 'make dinner' it's a two hour plus event because I have to make the dinner, set the table, clear everything off after we're done and clean everything by hand since we don't have a dishwasher (oh wait, yeah we do, it's called Shimus =/)

Nope, not once. Unless the holiday is very long, like when I go back visit my country... I will surely cook.

But if the holiday is less than 5 days long, then there is no way I will slave in front of the stove. Been cooking since I was 16. I am a bit tired of it. For me holiday means holiday.

Good stance I guess, but if I didn't cook people would whine. And I guess I'm a slave in that way. I just prefer a happy household.
