Hey there, I’m making strawberry cheesecake and all the recipes I could find just had strawberry sirop and strawberries on top, would I be able to cut some strawberries into flat pieces and put a layer in the middle. Is there any reason that wouldn’t work? And I shouldn’t put them on the sides right? In case it lets out juices?

you cannot put fresh fruit in a cheesecake that is going to be baked.

if you want to put fresh fruit in between the layers of a cheesecake, you need to make a no bake cheesecake.

That sounds like a great idea! Adding a layer of sliced strawberries in the middle of your cheesecake should work well. Just make sure the strawberries are thinly sliced and as dry as possible to avoid excess moisture. It’s best to avoid placing them on the sides to prevent sogginess. Enjoy your strawberry cheesecake!
