It's my middle son's favorite cake. He's requested it for his 14th birthday in 20 days. I still don't get the hoopla. I mean, it's chocolate cake with food coloring and cream cheese frosting. I'd rather have a devil's food cake with vanilla buttercream (palpitations) or my favorite, simple yellow cake with chocolate icing (faints).
