Frosted Cupcakes from the fridge

Hi! Just a quick question. I want to know if frosted cupcakes stored in the fridge still crust after left at room temperature again - without rewhipping.

Well I would think that they would, but I really cannot say with one hundred percent confidence. When it comes to issues like this I am usually not the best because as long as the taste is still there I couldn't really care less about the textures, but if I were serving it it would be a different story. Hope you find your answer.

Not sure I follow you... are the cupcakes stored in the fridge then taken out? Or vice versa?
